Use
Assemble the ROCKETSTOVE legs to the chute. Place the ROCKSTOVE on a stable, and flat surface.
Place kidling pieces into the front combustion chamber, light the fire starter, and place it under the kindling within the chute. Continue fueling the fire with wood as needed.
Adjust the airflow by opening or closing the damper to control the intensity of the flame.
Place your cookware on the top of the stope ensuring to exercise caution when stirring.
Cleaning
Allow the ROCKETSTOVE to cool completely before attempting to clean the stove.
Remove any ash or debris from the combustion chamber. Wash the stove with a sponge and warm soapy water. Rinse and dry the stove.
Store in the Custome Carry Bag in a dry, sheltered area when not in use to prevent rust and deterioration.

The true African experience requires the preparation of meals without electricity or gas. The Braaiplank Rocketstove+ is perfectly suited for this, enabling the preparation of traditional dishes such as potjie, pap and kaiings. Adding a thermosyphon water heater to the Braaiplank Rocketstove+ while one eats ensures 10 litres of hot water for cleaning pots.
The rocket stove far exceeded my expectations. I was able to cook a full chicken potjie using only the small amount of wood that came with the order. It cooked the food quickly and efficiently, and to my surprise, produced very little ash. Setup was incredibly simple—just two steps and it was ready to go. This stove will definitely be joining me on all my future outdoor adventures. I’m extremely impressed with the build quality; it feels so durable that I believe my grandchildren will still be using it one day. It’s also easy to store, especially with the storage bag, which I highly recommend purchasing along with the stove.
We cannot wait to make that favourite oxtail potjie. We just tested it and had a mean steak in a cast iron pan. We are amazed at how little wood is required to get the heat required. My huby is so impressed.

Fast shipping and excellent product! Very stable, fire burns nicely inside, so far I have fried using a Cadac cast iron plate top and done a potjie, in both cases the stove was very stable and performed admirably. Nice cooking height too for me (1.7-8m'ish)
I am enjoying the stove. I suggest that a basic instruction manual that illustrates how to atrt the fire, maintain the fire and clean the stove is included in the package.
The first time i used it, wanted to return it, then spent a little time and tried again.... Now we wont ever let it go.... It's a family time tool.... Would be nice if you have more tips and instructions for newbies etc
I bought the rocketstove for my husband for his birthday, we haven't used it yet but he loved it, especially since it comes with its own bag. finally our Potjie might see the light of day again after hiding it the garage for a few years.....
