Before use:

The skillet is pre-seasoned, but for optimal results, rinse with warm water (no soap), dry thoroughly, and lightly coat with cooking oil before heating.

Daily Use:

• Always preheat your skillet slowly over medium heat before cooking.
• Use a bit of oil or fat to prevent sticking and to enhance seasoning.
• Suitable for use on braais, gas stoves, open flames, or in the oven.

Cleaning tips:

• Hand wash only. Never use dishwashing liquid or put it in the dishwasher.
• Scrub gently with warm water and a soft brush or sponge.
• Avoid soaking. Dry immediately and completely after washing.

Re-Seasoning:

• After drying, apply a light coat of cooking oil to protect the surface.
• Occasionally re-season by heating a thin layer of oil in the pan until it lightly smokes, then wipe clean and store.

Storage:

• Store in a dry place.
• Keep the wooden base dry and out of direct moisture or heat.
