Oil After Each Use: Apply a light coat of food-safe oil to prevent rust. Suitable options include mineral oil, camellia oil, beeswax-based knife oils, or food-grade coconut oil. Avoid olive or vegetable oils as they can turn rancid.
Store Properly: Keep in a dry place, away from humidity.

Any knife edge can become blunt over time and with each use. We recommend that you sharpen your knife's blade as required.
The blade can be sharpened using any standard sharpening equipment, including a wet stone, rods, etc.

I love this little blade. It's cute, and functional. Cuts biltong (and the end of your finger if you are careless) like a charm. The attention to detail in manufacture is great. It's not too finicky to stop you taking it out into the mountains, either. Decent thickness, too. I hope BraaiPlank expand their knife range, would be fun to see a slightly bigger 'camping' type knife. Brent
I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for an inexpensive utility knife that is equally useful in the bush, a camp kitchen, the garden or in your shop. The construction is nice and solid and the high carbon stainless steel is easy to sharpen.
Purchased as a gift. I also bought many similar styles. Price was dirt cheap so wasn’t expecting much but these knives are amazing! Very sharp, with a beautiful wooden handle and extremely well-made sheath. I will be purchasing more as gifts if the price remains low.
Almost the perfect little bush knife. Great size and shape for delicate work.. It could serve well as a hunting knife or a lightweight skinning knife. Thick, full, full tang, which almost feels like overkill for this size knife. Surprisingly high quality for the price.
