Cleaning

After each use, wash the cutting board with hot, soapy water. Use a sponge or scrub brush to remove any food particles and stains. Rinse the board thoroughly with hot water to remove all soap residue.

Avoid submerging the board in water or placing it in the dishwasher, as this can cause warping or cracking.

Maintenance

Periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil or cutting board oil to the surface of the board to prevent it from drying out and cracking. Use a clean cloth to apply a thin layer of oil to the entire surface of the board, including the sides. Allow the oil to penetrate the wood for a few hours or overnight before wiping off any excess oil with a dry cloth.

By following these steps regularly, you can ensure that your wooden cutting board remains clean, sanitary, and in excellent condition for years to come.
