1. One pull. Kindling.
Slot the wood in. Pull the lever. Done. Clean kindling in seconds. Chunka chunka chunka, kindling for days, and the fire is lit before the axe is out of the shed.
Chopping fire wood made extremely easy!!
Splits wood for kindling without an axe or hatchet. Mounts to wall or post.
I have been looking for one of these for years, this is the best wood splitter you can get. Very solid.

One hand steadies the log, the other pulls the lever. The lever design multiplies force, so splitting takes strength out of the equation. One smooth pull does the work and your shoulder does nothing.
This has made splitting kindling and small pieces of wood easier on the back compared to an axe and hatchet.
No aiming, no swinging, no sweat. The blade stays put and the wood comes to it, so every pull lands exactly where the last one did.
I was skeptical initially, but after mounting I found it works much better than expected.
A carbon steel edge bites, the crack runs the length of the log, and it opens along the grain. Removable, so a few strokes on a stone brings it back.
The bar is long enough to get decent leverage for splitting and thick enough for strength.
Work the log down the blade and you have a weekend's starter wood from a single piece.
Kindling for days.
Same width every pull, so the fire catches first time. Braai, fireplace, boma, pizza oven.
We have an Ooni Pizza Oven and the woodsplitter is absolutely perfect for us as we need small pieces of wood kindling.
Seat the wood on the stepped rack and pull. As the blade bites, reseat it a notch higher so the lever stays at its strongest angle.
Great on softer woods (Oak, fruitwoods, Bluegum). Once you get the cutting angles right you are quickly away.
Steel bracket, steel lever, carbon steel blade, four bolts. Wall-mounted for rock solid stability, and heavier than you expect when the courier hands it over. Built to last years, not seasons.
I was surprised when this arrived by how much it weighed. It is much heavier than I expected and is very well made.
Swing the arm out, split, fold it back against the wall. Nothing leaning in a corner of the garage.
Awesome product, feel solid, local is lekker.
Four bolts and sleeves in the box. Brick, concrete or a solid post next to the braai. Mount it around hip height and you are splitting the same afternoon.
Even for me the mounting was super easy and didn't take me longer than 15 minutes.
The tool he reaches for every braai, not something that gathers dust. Birthdays, Christmas, a housewarming with a new braai. A quarter of our reviews are wives and mates buying it for someone else.
I bought this for my husband for his birthday and he was just too stoked for words!! Best birthday gift ever
It has been so useful that we have purchased one for our sons and another one for a friend as a gift.
Mount it, split a weekend's kindling. If you are not happy, send it back and we refund every cent.

This was a gift for my husband and he really loves it. Just in time for the new braai installation.
Slim plan manne.
It has been so useful that we have purchased one for our sons and another one for a friend.
I was a bit worried that this might be great in theory and lacking in practice, but not so! This thing is solid.

Installation: the unit must be securely mounted to a solid, stable structure (for example a brick wall or concrete surface) with appropriate heavy-duty fasteners. Ensure it is firmly fixed with no movement before use. Do not install on weak, hollow or unstable surfaces.
Use and care: this product is a manual wood-splitting tool. Position wood securely and centrally before applying force and apply controlled, steady pressure. If a piece does not split with reasonable force, stop and do not continue with that piece. Do not attempt wood that is too large, excessively hard, knotted or irregular. Keep the blade sharp and clean, check that all fasteners remain tight, and discontinue use if any part becomes damaged. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.
Legal notice: improper installation or use may result in injury. By using this product you acknowledge that wood-splitting carries inherent risks and agree to use it responsibly and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the manufacturer and seller are not liable for injury or damage resulting from improper installation, misuse or failure to follow instructions.
